Fondée en Novembre 2014, Back Market est la première place de marché européenne (et bientôt mondiale) dédiée à la vente de produits électriques & électroniques entièrement remis à neuf.

Le concept de Back Market est simple, mais radical : mettre directement en relation les consommateurs avec des professionnels du reconditionnement (usines, marques et distributeurs), via une seule et même plateforme. Avec une ambition folle : créer une alternative mainstream à l’achat de produits neuf 🚀

Job Description


In this role, you will join a small team within Back Market, acting as a startup within a startup. You will be in charge of supporting the launch of a completely new marketplace dedicated to providing our merchants with tools and resources to grow their business.

We are looking for a jack of all trades who is just as comfortable analyzing sales analytics as they are getting on the phone to resolve a customer care request. You will be our Third Musketeer (seriously there are only two of us now) and must thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment. If you are the kind of person with an entrepreneurial mindset who recognizes that no task is too small and will do anything needed to help us launch, then we want to hear from you!

Here is a little more detail about what your daily activities might include:

  • Monitor competition, industry and market trends for identification of futureoffering opportunities and positioning

  • Analyze customer feedback and sales trends to inform an improved user experience and drive our product roadmap

  • Assist with order management, including providing direct support to our customers

  • Challenging, developing and tracking detailed operational process maps to find optimization opportunities

  • Draft customer-facing language from acquisition emails to “How To” guides

⦁ You have an entrepreneurial mindset

⦁ You are autonomous with a great sense of business and the ability to prioritize your tasks and push innovations

⦁ You are a real jack of all trades who is just as comfortable analyzing sales analytics as they are getting on the phone to resolve a customer care request.

⦁ You master Excel/Google Sheets and have experience with tools such as Trello or Zapier (If you have not used them before, are you comfortable teaching yourself?!)

⦁ You are looking for a 6-month full-time internship

Recruitment Process

  • Physical Interview with Gaspard or Lauren depending again ou your location

  • Interview with one member of the BD Team (Arthur or Ben)
