Job Description

The Business Development department at Back Market is in charge of sourcing the offer available on our platforms in Europe and the US by recruiting and managing relationship with merchants worldwide.

In order to accelerate the Back Market catalog growth and maintain a high GMV growth in Europe and the US, Back Market is recruiting a B2B Communication Operation Manager, based in our Parisian office.

In a typical day, a Communication Operation Specialist may extract insights from data to help inform business decisions, design pilot programs and tools and launch operational initiatives. Within the Sales Operations team, you will also monitor the health of all business communication and work cross-functionnally to implement solutions, working with different department (Brand, Marketing, Quality...)

YOUR MISSION (if you accept it):

  • Developing, optimizing and scaling our current B2B communication tool and process
  • Creating and developing new channels of communication
  • Monitoring to better our Communication KPI; from response rate to number of messages sent including repeats bounce and call to action
  • Aligning with our Content and Brand team to deliver a dedicated tone & communication for our merchants
  • Reboot and scale our Merchant Satisfaction Index
  • Create a best optimized Communication timeline

Preferred Experience

  • Being graduated from one of the Top Engineering or Business School in your country; you have 2-year minimum experience as a CRM manager or as a project manager/operation or consultant
  • You are fluent in English, other languages are appreciated (French, Spanish, German, Italian, …);
  • You possess strong analytical skills, and you are autonomous are obtaining the data you need through SQL requests;
  • Salesforce, Mailchimp and other mass emailing email have no secret for you
  • Ideally, you have a previous experience in the Operations or CRM
  • You are autonomous, able to prioritize, initiative-driven, doer, scaler.
