The supply Department’s mission is to source great products that our customers want, working with thousands of refurbishers selling on 

The Business Development team's mission is to grow the supply of products on our site. We do this by bringing new sellers onto the platform and by growing existing sellers. 

We are looking for a results-driven individual with e-commerce/retail experience to drive Asia-based cross-border sellers to maximize their presence and business on The Business Development Manager will partner with sellers, country and category & quality performance team to grow the seller’s business on Backmarket worldwide including identifying high potential seller to maximize selection, monitoring seller’s healthy growth, work with sellers on pricing strategy, product quality, and performance to achieve our standard and deliver the best e-commerce experience for customer on

Your Mission (If You Accept It): 🥇

  • Contribute to Back Market’s selection growth and go to market strategy to acquire, nurturing and onboard new sellers
  • Focus on sellers GMV and Quality performance to ensure profitable and healthy growth for both seller and Back Market
  • Develop a potential partnership with industry influencers, service providers, affiliates in refurbished and cross-border e-commerce industry
  • Work on invent and simplify the business development flow also the seller onboarding experience to ensure you and your partner can work efficiently and effectively.

  • Experience
  • +3 years experience in sales, business development, or marketing
  • Previous experience in an e-commerce or fast-growing startup preferred 
  • Proven tracking record and high familiarity at cross-border e-commerce markets or refurbish industry is an advantage 
  • Skills
  • Native Mandarin with a high level of English communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High interpersonal skill
  • Excellent in time management and pipeline management with a great sense of priority, urgency, ownership, and accountability
  • Great listener with persuasiveness and persistent personality to drive results
  • Willing to travel, abilities to work independently with a highly self-motivated and innovative mindset
