The role and team

As a Communications Manager, you’ll be a key driver in shaping and delivering compelling communications campaigns that amplifies the brand and company mission. 


You’ll be the lifeline that helps connect communications objectives and initiatives across teams, from Marketing to Product and even our in-house creative agency. Your foresight, organization, and practical optimism will help deliver clear, engaging, and bold comms initiatives.


In this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter capable of solutions but also common ground across stakeholders of all stripes. You’ll also have a knack for knowing how to communicate and work with international teams.

Your mission if you accept it:

  • Work closely with the heads of marketing and communications to amplify Back Market’s story and help fully realize its potential in the US
  • Cross-functional partnership and leadership — you’ll be the driving force across different teams (e.g., product, creative, supply, and marketing) to achieve brand and business objectives
  • Manage brand communications roadmap to ensure creative campaigns and messaging are fully aligned across all earned and owned channels
  • Distill and surface comprehensive feedback to inform overall brand and creative strategy to unlock the greatest value for new creative campaigns
  • Help manage brand budget across media, creative agencies, influence, and production
  • Educate partners and provide customized messaging, guidance, and best practices to improve performance
  • Lead campaigns that ultimately help shift consumer’s understanding of refurbished technology and help make the world a better place

  • Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3+ years in brand, creative agency account management, or communications roles
  • Can identify potential brand risks and communicate them effectively
