At Back Market, we are very proud of our customers, they are at the heart of everything we do, and we drive ourselves to become a true customer-centric company. As our Engagement Director, you will have the crucial responsibility of our entire Engagement strategy, and be the incarnation of our focus on LTV. 

With great power comes great responsibilities, as we say. The list of your duties is long… but you’ll work hand in hand with Guillaume, our CMO, and Thomas, our VP Marketing to create our best-in-class customer-centric vision. You’ll be also supported by a team of 20 talented Back Makers on the different aspects of your scope. 

In a nutshell, you will be in charge of:

- the CRM: ensuring the CRM strategy and system are acting as an effective sales funnel that drives customer engagement

- the E-Merchandising: creating a state of the art recommandation & personalization machine

- the Catalog: optimizing our catalog structure and design for our customers 

- And last but not least, tailoring and delivering our mobile-first strategy 


  • You have been leading the global strategy of engagement of a high-growth company with a customer-first mindset 
  • You have managed consequent budgets (800M€-1B€) for subscription-based brands.
  • You know everything to know about CRM, merchandising and mobile application strategies 
  • You have an endless passion for innovation and experimentation in the social space.
  • You are driven by data and a tech savvy: you love pulling data & assessing complex information
  • Your are obsessed with customer satisfaction and you've always delivered an amazing experience to your audience
  • You are outgoing and enthusiastic, excited about being an inspiring leader of a rockstar team!

  • Meeting with the team: Steven, our Lead CRM Manager, and Victor, our Head of e-Merchandising & Catalog
