Job Description

As part of the Marketing Team based in New York City and reporting to the Head of Merchandising, the e-Store Specialist is a polyvalent and hands-on position at Back Market. You’ll be a key contributor in supporting our fastest growing market with a direct impact on the site’s conversion rate using diverse levarages: Merchandising, Commercial Animation, and Offer Management.

YOUR MISSION (if you accept it):

**Merchandising: Administrating the website, ensuring the product offer is commercially strong

  • Increase sales share of the product recommendation algorithm on the total revenue
  • Catalogue animation through on-site product recommendation
  • Increase the sales share of our diversification categories (excluding smartphones) in collaboration with the Account Management Team
  • Identify and push best product offers for marketing operations
  • Optimize the Landing Pages conversion rate through product positioning and filter management
  • Maintain and optimize the on-site search experience to increase the conversion rate
  • Follow up on weekly selling and web analysis and take appropriate actions to optimize the customer

*Commercial Animation : *

  • Assist planning and execute promotional and brand campaigns
  • Develop an on-site product focused animation plan and write content briefs to support the actions
  • Manage and execute the brand promotional calendar and on-site content update
  • Run promotional campaign ad-hoc analysis
  • Be accountable for the offer on site
  • Follow-up of price competitiveness and development of scalable mechanics that will feature the best priced offers on the site
  • Collaborate with the Catalogue Team to enrich product attributes and optimize the catalogue structure to sustain the offer’s growth
  • Maintain and update the on-site navigation menu

Preferred Experience

  • You have excellent organization, planning with a balance of analytical and creative skills
  • Google Analytics (or similar), SQL, Early Birds (or other algorithm based product recommendation systems) and Microsoft Office Suite are a no brainer to you.
  • You have experience with Content Square (or another user journey analysis tool)
  • You want to be part of a strategic project that has a direct impact on the business performance
  • You are self-motivated initiator, thought-leader, and motivating collaborator that thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-driven environment
  • You have an excellent business sense, negotiations skills and ability to create team dynamics with people you don’t have any hierarchical link with
