What’s your mission?

You will be responsible for managing Back Market’s in-house creative agency.

- Inspire, challenge and grow a team of 10 talented and passionate creatives (AD, copywriters, social media experts, etc.), across the USA and France.

- Deliver best-in class creative ideas, campaigns and content to make our brand shine - on all kinds of touchpoints (traditional media, Social, CRM, activations, etc.).

- Collaborate closely with the Studio Project and Resources Managers to challenge/calibrate incoming briefs and allocate the right talent for each project

- Feed our brand strategy (positioning, key messages, tone of voice, etc.) with your creative vision.

- Be the creative visionary and partner across a team of 600+ Back Makers: collaborating closely with the local Head of Marketing, Head of Product Design, Head of Culture, etc.

- Partner with creative agencies and freelance creative teams, that may be brought in to extend our brand firepower.

Who will be your key partners?

- You will be part of the Marketing Coms team, lead by Vianney Vaute, our Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer.

- You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Head of Global Coms on developing powerful stories across 16 markets in America, Europe and Asia. 

- You’ll also work closely with our Head of Social (TBH), our Head of Content & Editorial and local Heads of Marketing.

The gem we’re looking for – key skills

  • You are passionate about building a powerful global consumer  brand with a strong purpose and a shitload of personality (vs a cold, transactional platform). You are deep into culture and always interested in understanding people better. You have a global mindset, but wildly curious (and respectful) of cultures that are not your own. 
  • You actually believe a brand isn’t created only through advertising, but that any kind of touchpoints - even the more “trivial” ones (CRM, SoMe, UX copy, etc.) - are an opportunity to fire up relationships with users
  • You’re able to convey strong sense of direction for your team and make bold, quick decisions, while leaving a lot of room and freedom to your creative talents
  • You can embrace and support business challenges (briefs, timings, results, etc.) while maintaining room for a true and fruitful creative process
  • You are excited about managing a multicultural team, across different time zones. And if you happen to speak a little bit of french, c’est encore mieux.
  • You have a 10 years experience min. : preferably in communications / advertising agencies - or a similar experience within a high-growth brand. 
  • You’ve done great work, but you are looking for the chance to build a bold and disruptive brand for a new category that could change everything. You are brave and ready to fly.
