As a key member of the Supply Operations Team, you will be in charge of merchant marketing & communications globally.

Your Mission If You Accept It:

  • Establish Back Market as the undisputed leading platform for businesses (OEMs, retailers, refurbishment specialists, wholesalers…) looking to monetize second-life products 
  • Define Back Market’s Corporate brand image in collaboration with our creative team, and be the guarantor of the brand in all Corporate communications
  • Define & execute Back Market’s B2B marketing & communication strategy 
  • Structure and implement the ideal communication flows for Merchants (CRM), including frequency of interactions and choice of channels (Emailing, Blogging, Back Office, etc.)
  • Set up a scalable CRM tool for all Merchant communications
  • Be responsible for Merchant marketing & communications on a day to day basis, in collaboration with the Supply Operations teams which provides the technical content  
  • Design, plan, organize and project manage all in-person and virtual events for Back Market’s Merchants and B2B Partners (Webinars, Back Market Forum, etc…)
  • Create & execute external events and trade shows strategy (event selection and planning, collaterals creation, sponsorships negotiations, panel participations…)   
  • Identify Merchant lead-generation partnerships
  • Take part in Merchant acquisition by defining the messaging and cadence of communication to acquire new merchants
  • Position Back Market as a thought leader in the refurbished, circular economy, ecommerce and B2B tech space: coordinate creation of white papers, build partnerships with research firms (Counterpoint, Forrester, Gartner e.g.)
  • Work closely with Back Market PR team to generate earned media from professional, trade and business publishers
  • Preferred Experience

  • You are a Native English Speaker
  • You have 7-10 years of relevant experience, with 2-3 years minimum in a Corporate Marketing, B2B Product Marketing or similar role
  • You are available for a full time position
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • You have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders including branding, marketing, account management and business insights teams
  • You have a deep understanding of the e-commerce and retail environment
  • You are a team player and have a can-do attitude
  • French speaking is a plus ! (Although you do not need to love cheese)
