Job Description

As part of the Marketing Team based in Paris and reporting to the Head of Merchandising, the Merchandising Germany Specialist is a polyvalent and hands-on position at Back Market. You’ll be a key contributor in supporting our European fastest growing market with a direct impact on the site’s conversion rate using diverse leverages: Merchandising, Commercial Animation, and Offer Management.

Your Mission (If You Accept It):

  • Your mission would include the following:
  • Increase sale's share of the product recommendation algorithm on the total revenue
  • Increase the sales share of our diversification categories (excluding smartphones) in collaboration with the Account Management Team and Traffic ManagersIdentify and push best product offers during marketing operations
  • Optimize the Landing Pages conversion rate through product positioning and filter management
  • Maintain and optimize the on-site search experience to increase the conversion rate
  • Follow up on weekly sales analysis, web analysis and take appropriate actions to optimize the customer journey
  • Develop an on-site product-focused animation plan and write content briefs to support the actions 
  • Manage and execute the brand promotional calendar and on-site content updates
  • Run promotional campaign ad-hoc analysis
  • Follow-up of price competitiveness and development of scalable mechanics that will feature the best-priced offers on-site
  • Collaborate with the Catalogue Team to enrich product attributes and optimize the catalog structure to sustain the offer’s growth
  • Maintain and update the on-site navigation menu

You're At The Right Place If:

  • You are fluent in German and have no secret for the German marke
  • You have 2-year minimum experience as a merchandiser, category manager or related position in e-commerce
  • You have excellent organization, planning with a balance of analytical and creative skills
  • You have experience using Google Analytics (or similar),it’s a plus if you know SQL and Early Birds (or other algorithm-based product recommendation systems)
