Job Description

The Business Development department at Back Market is in charge of sourcing the offer available on our platforms in Europe and the US by recruiting and managing relationship with merchants worldwide.
In order to accelerate the Back Market catalog growth and maintain a high GMV growth in Europe and the US, Back Market is recruiting an Operations Manager, based in our Parisian office.

Within the New Business Development team, you will help us preparing new countries opening, by scaling the going go-live process for our merchants, and scaling the offer we need.

The position includes those exciting tasks:

  • Building and analyzing Sales Operations performance within the newbiz funnel, implementing action plans accordingly;
  • Developing, optimizing and scaling our new or current process, and ensure a smooth implementation with top-tier communication and team training;
  • Leading projects, with internal and external stakeholders, onboarding them and negotiating with them;
  • Writing both business & technical specs and follow developments with our Project and Product teams;
  • Optimizing the team’s conversion delay increasing the conversion rate;
  • Supporting the team in administrative tasks, reducing/outsourcing the lowest- added value tasks.

Preferred Experience

  • Being graduated from one of the Top Engineering or Business School in your country; you have 2-year minimum experience as a consultant or as a project manager/operations manager in a high-growth start-up.
  • You are fluent in English and in French, other languages are appreciated (Spanish,
  • German, Italian, …);
  • You possess strong analytical skills, and you are autonomous are obtaining the data you need through SQL requests;
  • Ideally, you have a previous experience in the e-commerce business, working
  • with developers/product owners;
  • You have an excellent business sense, negotiations skills and ability to create team
  • You are autonomous, able to prioritize, initiative-driven, doer, scaler
