Descriptif du poste

One of the Back Market key differentiators is the UX we provide to the customers. It comes with light and nice design, clear explanation of what a refurbished product is and a super clean catalog. We built partnerships with service providers handling 5 languages today much more next year. Today the challenge is on refurbished grey, brown and white goods representing a huge growth opportunity for Back Market, making even more mainstream the refurbished tech products consumption. Yet, product categories other than smartphones – Other Electronics & Appliances – are not yet mature and the corresponding refurbished offer is below smartphones standards, requiring a specific focus to increase its attractiveness for customers. Done right, this segment represents a huge growth opportunity. Processes and rules are often updated to provide all the informations the customer need to buy the product. Within the Catalog team, you are responsible of setting up the processes giving the customer of each market the best experience and making sure the catalog quality reaches the level you defined.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT):

  • You will challenge catalog processes and develop new rules to deliver better quality on all categoriesTake into account needs from all services (BD, Marketing, Customer Care, Team Features…)
  • You will setup catalog quality kpis, challenging the ones already existing
  • You will follow and report catalog quality, working with BI to get the good visualisations
  • You will act and solve issues you’ve spotted, finding new ways to do it faster
  • You will challenge with data the work done on the Catalog
  • You will adjust your reporting and tools to new rules and processes
  • You will support the business development team and merchants in catalog’s tasks reducing/outsourcing the lowest-added value tasks

Profil recherché

What are we looking for ?

  • After your Master degree from a top Engineering, Business School or Universities in your country, you have at least 3 years experience as Category Manager / Purchaser at a retailer, ideally on electronics categories
  • You already have experiences in Marketplaces environnement
  • You have strong knowledge on electronics products, or at least you have strong interest on it
  • Good analytics, Great communication and Strong attention to detail
  • You are fluent in English and French
