About the job

The Product Analytics team empowers Back Market to take data-driven decisions when defining its product strategy. From long term vision & discovery,  to short term iterations (AB tests), we partner with product managers, designers, engineers, business stakeholders to ensure the availability, reliability, accessibility and a high standard of tracking & analysis of data across all feature teams, in all our countries. 

As Product Data Analyst, you will be the data owner of your product scope. You will be responsible for analyzing the performance and opportunities in your products and the way they impact our clients and sellers. You will be reporting to the Lead of Product Analytics & Tracking and dedicated to one or several squads. 

You’ll be responsible for :

  • Conducting analysis and identifying actionable insights throughout the product development process to inform strategic decisions with data.
  • Defining KPIs and health metrics for assessing and monitoring your products
  • Collaborating to prioritization & roadmapping efforts by sizing product opportunities
  • Designing, maintaining over time and contributing to the structure and development of a tracking framework in your product scope
  • Design and evaluate A/B test experiments or other analyses to measure and report the performance of released features
  • Promoting a evidence-based decision making culture by enabling product, engineering and business stakeholders to run self-service data analysis (tooling, training)
  • You're perfect for this role if :

  • You have 3+ years of experience in quantitative analysis roles, ideally including having worked closely with product teams
  • You have an advanced analytical mindset and experience uncovering data insights to form hypothesis, designing product experiments, evaluating results and making recommendation
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or equivalent.
  • You have advanced knowledge of SQL, good knowledge of Python and working knowledge of data warehousing concepts & stacks (ex. BigQuery).
  • You have experience with tracking methodologies and software.
  • You have advanced knowledge of Amplitude, Tableau or similar reporting tools.
  • You have advanced knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel skills.
