Back Market, the world’s leading marketplace for refurbished technology has a very exciting new job opening.
In order to further accelerate Back Market’s high GMV growth and ensure the best possible supply across our marketplaces, Back Market is recruiting a Senior Strategic Business Developer for Europe, based in our office in Paris. This is a critical new hire for a complex and high-impact position.

Within the Strategic Partnerships team you will be responsible for converting a portfolio of the most strategic prospects across Europe and ensuring Back Market continues to build a market leader position with the best supply and the strongest partner sellers onboard

YOUR MISSION (if you accept it):

  • Converting a portfolio of top priority partners and delivering partner satisfaction and business growth, as well as identifying new strategic prospects with the highest business potential;
  • Building an effective operational strategy to approach them
  • Approaching, negotiating and converting the strategic leads into Back Market merchants;
  • Training and guiding the new partners on the Back Market tools and services allowing them to be fully autonomous and achieve the highest levels of performance;
  • Managing projects and creating new services, tools and processes with the constant aim of improving partner satisfaction while achieving milestones and deliverables along the way

Profil recherché

YOU ARE AT THE RIGHT PLACE IF:

  • Native English speaker with minimum 5 years experience in sales with an excellent track record and experience in working and delivering on complex projects (preferably in a tech environment)
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and collaboration skills, you are also familiar with tough and long negotiations;
  • You are passionate about the online and e-commerce environment – with substantial experience in this field
  • Passionate about growth and eager to learn, you are familiar with the start-up environment and working in a demanding change-oriented environment
  • You are a fantastic team player and highly driven
  • You are an excellent listener and proactively find/anticipate solutions to answer your partners needs.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and work closely with product, marketing, account management, catalogue and business insights team members to deliver business value to our partners
  • A plus if you have: Strong knowledge of the refurbished industry
